Luxembourg-Findel Airport

Luxembourg-Findel Airport, sometimes simply referred to as Findel, is an airport in Luxembourg, located a few kilometers northeast of the city of Luxembourg in the locality of Findel in Sandweiler, hence its name.

It is the only airport in the country, making it exclusively international. It serves as a hub for the national airline Luxair, as well as the international cargo airline Cargolux.

Regarding cargo transportation, Findel Airport is the fifth largest cargo airport in Europe behind Paris, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, and London, ranking 23rd worldwide.

As for passenger traffic, it has experienced unprecedented growth, welcoming 4.46 million passengers in 2019.
